One cigarette left. Actually, 1 and a bit. I'm just finishing off the 'bit' one. Still tossing up whether to quit or not. I want to, but the violent shakes, sweats, over-eating, sleepiness (not good with 14mnth old baby - they don't like to see their Mummy's sleep, evidently) and generally feeling like shit make me a little reluctant. I'm allergic to nicotine patches (hallucinations and the like) so that is not an option. So I kind of have to go cold turkey.
Pissed off at my brother right now. He's a junkie, and he won't do anything to help himself. Dad keeps giving him money, and has no idea why he is always broke. Dad thinks that he's all clean and sober now, and everyone else knows that's not true. A pity. I don't like to see my father taken for a fool. Especially by his own blood. It also causing dissention amongst the ranks. My other brother, my sister, my sister-in-law, and I have all had enough. My brother rings my father to pay his rent, buy him his shopping, get his mobile, TV, and DVD player out of hock (the ones my father bought for him after he lost his last lot to the pawnbroker). One of us rings dad for a loan of $20 and we get ripped into. "The well is running dry, you know. I'm basically supporting your brother". Solution: Stop supporting him, and his habit. These things are all coming out here, because they can't go anywhere else. I wouldn't tell my father, not that I can ever get him alone, now that his she-dragon and he have moved in together.. then I would be at the end of his temper. No thank you.
Sorry.

Things that do not make sense to you at one particular point in time, sometimes turn around and kick you up the arse a few years later... If you want to see girls in skimpy, bright clothes and listen to music that goes doof, doof, doof all night, go to Family or The Empire. Esbat. Saturday was a shit of a day.
I start work at the Short Black on Thursday. I sat there waving my (metaphorical) Democrats flag, and what happened?? Carolyn still hasn't lodged the bond.

Me and A Gun
You're Surviving. Makeing it
through difficulties, trying to stay strong
even when you don't feel like it.
But I haven't seen Barbados so I must get out of
this
What Tori Amos Song are you?
brought to you by Quizilla

Your element is Water: Understanding, intelligent,
quiet and calm. You know who you are and no one
can change that. Usually quiet but only because
your listening, don't let anyone think you
haven't got an opinion! Your not quiet because
your shy or sad, your usually quiet because
your thinking. Your answers are well planned
and helpful so people generally seek your
advice. Your the perfect balance between
solitary and outgoing. But sometimes you need a
little time to yourself to sort out your
emotions and figure things out. You understand
the phrase 'sticks and stone' and rarely let
things get to you, whats that important for you
to have to get so upset over? You know what you
want out of life but are simply taking your
time and enjoying things. To you your life is
fine as it is, you can always change things
later if your not happy.

Actually, I love money. I'm a taurus. I'm programmed to be materialistic. When I was younger, I would just sit there and count out my piggy bank over and over again. I wanted to be a bank teller.

If you ask me it was a combination of the two.
First off, my two brothers, my sister-in-law and my niece rocked up. Cool. Then my sister and her brood (including 1 x fiance, and 4 x kids) turn up. My sister looks distressed "A convoy just pulled up". Oh crap! It was Terry's entire family. They had all car-pooled and/or followed each other from their designated meeting place. Then Terry pulls me aside "So and so, and so and so are here too". Crap. "Did we invite them? Did we know they were coming?" "No" "Will we have enough food for everyone?" "No". Crap.
That was the worst of it, really. Then my aunt and her arrogant prick of a husband and their 3 kids show up. Crap. My cousin's girlfriend proceeded to get into an argument with my aunt about my aunt causing trouble at my cousin's work. (She's nosy and she can't help it. She has copies of all my cousin's ATM cards and phone banking details, and regularly checks their accounts)... I probably have more to say about it, but don't want to bore you. So I'll stop.
Happy Birthday, El. *smoochies*
